Even though the Crocodile Bird probably doesn't exist, there are real symbiotic relationships like this between certain species of fish. One small fish species cleans and grooms a much larger predatory fish species, and the predator, instead of snatching up a quick meal, allows the grooming fish to do its business unharassed, benefitting from the removal of the barnacles that the small fish eats.

I'm surprised that these real-life symbiotic fish aren't also touted by Creationists as "Irreducibly Complex".

Oh, there are birds that groom crocodiles externally, so far as I know. But not by hopping into their mouths, that might be more than a crocodile's patience could bear.
