Talk:Carbon Dating Doesn't Work

One claim about carbon dating that I remember from a fundie pamphlet (perhaps a Jack Chick pamphlet) decades ago was that scientists had supposedly tested carbon-dating on a living creature of some kind, and it had indicated that the creature was thousands of years old.

Someone more knowledgeable than I might want to talk about this not being true or, if it is true, explain why it does not prove that C14 dating doesn't work.
